Climate change

I find the debate over climate change curious. The conflict between believers and non beleveers is where action is marooned.
What about an alternative view that goes something like, global demand for coal continues to diminish because the world doesn't want it and the day comes where the question of if Australia should be in the coal business becomes there is no cloal business. Then what do we do?
I expect the way forward for a country of large area and modest population is agriculture, and what if we want to sell food to the world but our products are on the nose because Australia does nothing with the world to control warming.
